    Description
    General Education: SCC: Area 3; Cal-GETC: Area 3A A study of the art and architecture of the major modern movements and artists from the 19th century and 20th centuries. Includes analysis of subject, form, and content of paintings, photography, sculpture, and new media. Also examines the role of the art world (such as critics, curators, museums) in shaping modern art history. Modern Art is a capstone course designed for, but not limited to, Art History and Studio Art Majors. Field trip may be required. (Formerly ART 011)
