An independent study course designed for students who have taken the introductory classes in an area of emphasis (Drawing and Mixed Media, Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics, or Sculpture) and would like to work with an instructor to focus on specific technical, aesthetic, and/ or conceptual problems in that area. Students will create a portfolio or project and reflect on their work in written papers.
