    Description
    An introduction to the history, development, techniques, and processes of relief printmaking. This hands on course will study and apply relief methods such as embossing, collagraph, linoleum cut, woodcut, and non-traditional methods. Students will make prints using these methods and will learn to apply graphic principals to their creative work. Attention will be paid to issues of racism, representation, and the power structures that exist in both past and current practices of art and design. Field trip may be required.
