- Emphasizes ceramic design problem-solving. Emphasis on creativity, design, honing skills, craftspersonship and experimentation. Ceramic art of the past as well as contemporary art is discussed. Loading and firing kilns, formulating glaze and mixing clay bodies are also covered. Field trip may be required.
