    Description
    Examination of selected social problems utilizing sociological perspectives and theories. Students will explore various contemporary issues including poverty and economic disparities, healthcare, racism, sexism, LGBTQ oppression, environmental justice, and immigration. Students analyze examples of potential solutions to social problems through examples of social movements.
