Students will learn a vocal technique based on scientific research of the vocal tract anatomy that enables the production of a wide variety of vocal qualities without aesthetic bias. In addition, students will develop critical thinking skills through analysis of cultural and historical contexts that influenced the evolution of specific singing styles and genres.
