Students will develop critical thinking skills through exploration of cultural and historical contexts that influenced the creation of specific genres and/or pieces of keyboard music. In addition, students will learn beginning piano performance skills for a "hands on" experience of the traditions they explore, with an emphasis on creative problem solving skills.
