    Description
    The study of the evolution of diesel engines, diesel combustion theory, basic design, fuel system components, electronic and mechanical controls, fuel types and emission controls systems of light-duty diesel engines used in passenger cars and light duty trucks with a gross vehicle weight under 14,000 lbs. Upon completion of this course the student should be able to pass the ASE A9 certification test.
