    Description
    This course incorporates the concepts from MUS 9A. In addition, through writing and analysis, it includes the study of Sonata, sonatina, and rondo forms in the Classical and Romantic eras, followed by the study of 20th century compositional techniques such as modality, nontonality, impressionism, tone rows, set theory, and modern approaches to meter and rhythm.
