Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course will introduce the student to various small Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) payloads and their uses such as still cameras, video cameras, infrared sensors, laser rangefinders, Lidar, and multispectral sensors. The course will cover the software needed to retrieve this data, analyze it, and use it across such industries as forestry, agriculture, geographical information systems, safety, and law enforcement. The course will also introduce flight/mission planning, preparation, execution, and post processing of data. This course may be offered in a distance education format.
