    Description
    This course provides introduction to and practice of nursing skills and concepts in the lab and clinical setting to gain proficiency for delivery of client-centered care for the Associate Degree Nursing Program and is one of two corequisite courses that comprise the first semester. An on- campus lab designed for structured practice and mastery of nursing skills necessary for providing safe care is utilized. This course provides instructional guidance to assist students in refining newly acquired skills and develop the competency level expected of foundational nursing students. A portion of this course may be offered in a distance education format. (CSU transferable)
