    This course will introduce the students to the profession of Physical Therapist Assistant by covering the history, laws, and ethics of the profession; professional/medical documentation and quality assurance issues; and research and Evidence-Based Practice (EBP). Students will also study communication techniques, interpersonal relationships, and psychosocial considerations in health care. This course may be offered in a distance education format. (CSU transferable)
