Students will learn the basic elements of music, and the different ways to organize music that are connected with various cultural traditions. Students will learn about the intersection of World Music and Cultural Anthropology. This course may be offered in a distance education format. World Music satisfies the Music Core program, and both the GE Humanities and the Multicultural electives. (CSU/UC transferable)
