Course focuses on development of fluency by perfecting speech patterns, increasing vocabulary, and reinforcing pronunciation through simple sentence patterns, audio CDs, oral presentations, interactive communication in activities such as thematically centered conversations and conducting interviews. This course is for the practical use of Japanese. Cultural presentations will also be made through film, filmstrips, anime, music, TV programs, etc. This course may be offered in a distance education format. (CSU transferable)
