The primary concepts covered in this course include advanced healthcare statistics, data analysis, mining and exploration. The course is a hands-on approach to healthcare data across the analytics continuum, and introduces Microsoft Excel, MySQL Workbench and R, and RStudio for statistical analysis and data visualization. This course is designed for health information management majors. This course may be offered in a distance education format.
