This course includes a description of the duties and responsibilities of a Type 3 Information Officer, the kinds and sources of information needed, how to gather and distribute information to meet the needs of print and electronic media, internal audiences, cooperators, communities, landowners, homeowners, local government leaders, and the steps and materials needed to operate an information center and field work site.
