    Description
    C-ID: ENGL 100 In this course, students receive instruction in academic reading and writing, including writing processes, effective use of language, analytical thinking, and the foundations of academic research. This course includes embedded support. An argumentative research essay is required for successful completion of the course. The lecture portion of this course may be offered in a distance education format. (CSU/UC* transferable) *UC transfer limit � maximum credit 4 units; maximum credit one course between ENGL C1000 and ENGL C1000E
