    This is a competency for the Early Childhood Education Competency- Based Education Pathway. This competency explores the typical roles and expectations of early childhood educators, such as professional ethics, career pathways, and professional standards. Students will develop a professional portfolio and personal philosophy of teaching. This competency may be offered in a distance education format. ECE 1CB, 2CB, and 3CB are equivalent to ECE 17.
