    This is a competency for the Early Childhood Education Competency- Based Education Pathway. It introduces the appropriate use of assessment and observation tools and strategies to document young children's development and learning. This competency may be offered in a distance education format. ECE 19CB, 20CB, and 21CB are the equivalent of ECE 7.
