    Description
    This is a competency for the Early Childhood Education Competency- Based Education Pathway. This competency introduces the early childhood professional to the typical and atypical development of young children in the social-emotional domain. Students will explore basic approaches to problem behaviors and learn how to analyze situations and suggest alternative strategies. This competency may be offered in a distance education format. ECE 13CB, 14CB, and 15CB are the equivalent to ECE 52.
