Instruction will include a review of database design concepts; queries involving linked tables, logical operators, and calculated fields; crosstab, update, and summary queries; pivot tables and Pivot Charts; presentation of data through forms and reports (including field calculations and graphics); creating hyperlinks from Access to web pages; importing and exporting data; and advanced queries. This course provides preparation for the Microsoft Office Specialist Access certification exam. This course may be offered in a distance education format. (CSU transferable)
