This course covers aspects of archaeoastronomy, telescope optics, prominent scientists, the sun, planets and their moons, asteroids, comets, solar system exploration, and extrasolar planets. This course may be offered in a distance education format. (CSU/UC transferable) AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY (AUTO) NOTE: Students must provide their own hand tools for technical classes in the Diesel Technology and Automotive Technology majors in order to complete required course objectives.
