    Description
    This course provides an introduction to North American Indian cultures. It surveys the histories of North American Indian cultures from their first arrival to today, and examines the historical-cultural experiences that have contributed to their present day conditions, focusing on the effects of Indian-European contact on both the Native and Euroamerican cultures. Additionally, specific North American native nations are examined in-depth. This course may be offered in a distance education format. (CSU transferable) ARCHAEOLOGY (ARCH)
