    This course offers an introduction to wildland fire science, ecology, and management. Students will explore the ecological role of fire, the fundamental concepts of fuels, weather, and fire behavior, management techniques, and current issues related to wildfire impacts. A portion of this course may be offered in a distance education format. (CSU/UC transferable)
