Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course is a study of the principles and practices of purebred and commercial beef cattle production in California, the United States, and global economies. Emphasis is placed on breeds, breeding principles, animal selection, feeding and nutrition, management, health and disease control, recordkeeping, and marketing to ensure scientifically-based management decisions and consumer acceptance as applied to beef cattle.
