Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis course covers the history, causes and dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault. It will also cover existing laws and regulation in California with regards to sexual assault and domestic violence. Incident impact on individuals, family structure and the community will be discussed. The course is specifically designed to provide training to those who may become involved in crisis intervention and sexual assault and domestic violence victim advocacy, as well as those pursuing a career in law enforcement, education or social services. This course may be offered in a distance education format.
