Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course is designed to help students approach challenging and varied reading tasks on topics related to STEM areas by introducing several effective reading strategies, such as those from the Reading Apprenticeship Project. This is a support course for discipline-specific courses in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), which includes: Anatomy, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology/Earth Science, Kinesiology, Microbiology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Oceanography, Physics, and Computer Science; Aerospace, Architectural, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Geomatics, Industrial, and Mechanical Engineering; Algebra, Calculus, Liberal Arts Math, Statistics and Probability, and Trigonometry.
