Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis 40-hour certification course is designed to provide a minimal level of training in municipality officer safety. The course has been developed for anyone who has enforcement authority in land-use, zoning, law, health, building and safety regulations and inspections. Course topics include, a review of, Code Enforcement Officer Senate Bill 296, Code Enforcement Officer Safety and identifying and recommendations in developing appropriate safety standards for the profession. Students will be able to identifying threats and risk, hazardous situations, discussion of case law, dangerous verbal and non-verbal behaviors.
