    Description
    Part 1: In this course, students receive instruction in academic reading and writing, including writing processes, effective use of language, analytical thinking, and the foundations of academic research. This is an honors course. Part 2: In addition to the research paper, this course provides an enriched exposure to expository and argumentative essays, requiring in-depth analysis of issues and substantive treatment of student-selected topics.
