Transfers ToCSUDescriptionIntroduction to the history, philosophy, and sociology of secondary education. This course will cover the California Teacher Performance Expectations and Assessment; needs of special populations, cultural competency and critical consciousness for educators, English learners, and struggling readers; content standards and major curriculum reform documents.
