    Description
    This course presents industry methods, materials, and typical applications for drywall repair and finishing. Training will include terminology and descriptions of industry-standard repair and finishing practices as well as application tool types and techniques, material identification and selection. Manufacturer guidelines will highlight the environmental conditions necessary for proper mixture preparation and use. Key discussions will address common repair and finishing issues, their causes and solutions, and emphasize the selection and use of low-VOC products. The importance of mixture consistency and proper coating sequence will be stressed during hands-on drywall repair and finishing exercises.
