By building on students’ existing skills, the course will cover reading, writing, and speaking strategies, incorporating standard academic Spanish. Special emphasis will be placed on vocabulary expansion, accurate grammar usage, accentuation, punctuation, and orthography. The course will also explore topics related to Latinx culture, literature, and history to deepen students’ appreciation of their linguistic and cultural heritage.
