    Description
    A study of ethnic arts and literature in America. Reading, discussion and analysis of trends in the literature of at least three of the following United States ethnic groups: Native American, Asian American, African American, Latino American, Pacific Islander American, Middle Eastern American, European American, and Multi-ethnic American. The course will emphasize the cultural issues that shape each ethnic literature, as well as its special contributions to American literature overall.
