    Description
    In this course, students will learn the etiology, recognition and prevention of dental disease. Course emphasizes pharmacology, oral pathology, periodontology, and community dental health. Students will gain knowledge in the science and manipulation of alginate, gypsum, fluoride, sealants and teeth whitening products. The didactic and clinical components meet the requirements for a California State approved course in both coronal polish and pit and fissure sealant certificates.
