    Description
    Students will learn the principles of chairside assisting. Emphasis is placed on chairside responsibilities, instrument and equipment identification, four-handed techniques, and sequences of general dentistry procedures. Additionally, students will learn topical anesthetic placement and the indications and contraindications of uses; identification, prevention, and management of common medical emergencies in dental settings.
