Transfers ToCSUDescriptionIn this class, students will learn video post-production fundamentals using professional Non-Linear Editing (NLE) digital video software. Lessons include: Choosing Cameras, Lighting & Audio Equipment, Importing Media, Timeline Sequences, Timecode, Editing to exact total running time (TRT), Aspect Ratios, Asset Management, Transitions, Effects, Titles, Still Frames and Workflow, Multiple Sequences, 2D Key Frame Animations, Custom Effects, Green Screen Masking, Basic Compositing, JandL Audio Transitions. Students will demonstrate knowledge of these concepts will culminate in a final project short video that displays the application of these techniques. Students are not required to film or have access to a camera for this class.
