Transfers ToCSUDescriptionIn this course, students will learn the science of animal nutrition, including the functions of major nutrient classes and fundamentals of digestion and absorption in both ruminants and non-ruminants. The practical aspects of feeding livestock will also be covered, including evaluating nutrient needs of livestock, feedstuff evaluation, economics, and ration balancing.
