    Description
    Cal-GETC Area 4 (Social & Behavioral Sciences) This interdisciplinary course critically explores the politics of gender and sexuality in contemporary societies. The course considers materials from political theory, philosophy, the study of women, the study of masculinity, and queer studies as it examines the role of gender, gender based social movements, and sexual politics in political and social life and in contemporary political affairs.
