Transfers ToCSUDescriptionNURSNG 35 and NURSNG 35L must be taken concurrently. The focus of this nursing laboratory course is to allow the student an opportunity to demonstrate competencies in skills and managing health deviations related to the neurosensory, cardiovascular, respiratory disorders and the burn injury patient. Students will exhibit competencies in utilizing Orem’s Self-Care Model and the nursing process to calculate the therapeutic self-care demand of selected patients. Students will utilize the clinical pathways in providing care to patients with complex health problems. Principles of delegation are implemented.
