- This course familiarizes the students with the expectations of journalism by the public and teaches the student the basic news writing guidelines used in broadcast journalism. Through news writing assignments and exercises, the student will become adept in basic broadcast news writing. JOURN 4A is the same course as MEDIA 14. Students may earn credit for one, but not both.
