    Description
    Cal-GETC Area 1B (Critical Thinking & Composition) OR Area 4 (Social & Behavioral Sciences) This course presents an overview of historians’ methods of research, critical analysis, and written argumentation and introduces historiography and historical theory. Students will apply these methods through a variety of extensive writing projects, leading to a properly documented academic research paper. The research component of the course strengthens students’ information competency skills.
