It addresses the significant social, economic, political, intellectual, and artistic transformations that shaped British and Irish history, including the development of a constitutional monarchy, the industrial revolution, establishment of a global empire, Irish independence, involvement in world wars, the emergence of Thatcher conservatism, and beyond.
