- ESL 11A is an intermediate, multi-skills course that helps English language learners improve their communication skills in a multicultural setting. It focuses on writing academic paragraphs, grammar, reading, academic vocabulary, listening, and speaking. Students who receive a final grade of “C” in ESL 10G or 10W should enroll in support courses (ESL14A/B, 15, 16A/B/C, 17) before taking ESL 11A or concurrently with ESL 11A.
