    Description
    Cal-GETC Area 3B (Humanities) This introductory course will study contemporary Asian literature and film as reflections of the cultural values and important social and political movements in some Asian countries. Students will study selected films and literature from at least three Asian countries each semester in order to highlight and explore the relationship between images and words, between the verbal text and the visual text.
