Students will learn the origins of cryptocurrencies, how cryptocurrencies work as well as real world practical applications of cryptocurrencies. This course provides a broad overview of technologies required to purchase, store, and mine cryptocurrencies. Students will learn how blockchain is being used to support cryptocurrencies and the advantages blockchain provides. Students will also gain an understanding of the various cryptoassets such as the various coin, tokens and crypto collectibles.
