Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course provides the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience needed to deliver successful commercial websites. Students will learn the many pitfalls of website planning and production and how to overcome them. This includes understanding what is wanted, and learning how to create the website in a speedy and efficient manner. Students will learn how to manage the project and the client, and perfect techniques in design. Learning how to design for the intended audience, obtain content, select a proper navigation, incorporate various media (graphics, database, animations, etc.), deploy and maintain the website are the key elements covered. This is a hands-on course and the students will utilize newly learned skills to build a website for a client which can be added to their portfolio.
