Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course will focus on the basics of drawing and painting with Acrylics and Mixed Media. Acrylics are a fast drying medium that is ideally suited for the beginning art student interested in Commercial Arts as well as Fine Arts. Students will develop skills in conceptual and observational painting through still life and assignments geared toward illustration. Assignments are based on typical areas of concentration found in the field, including conceptual, decorative, surreal, editorial, design, narrative, portrait, realistic and on the practical aspect of a career in illustration.
