- Cal-GETC Area 5B (Biological Sciences, non-lab) This course focuses on the evolutionary history of our species, Homo sapiens, through an examination of the paleontological record of primate and human origins. It examines the latest ideas on comparative primate and human paleobiology and places these developments within the conceptual framework of modern evolutionary theory.
