    Cal-GETC Area 3A (Arts) Satisfies Global Citizenship Formerly ART 2. This course is a survey of the chronological development of Western art from the Renaissance to the mid 19th Century with emphasis on the cultural, political, and social factors that influenced this evolution. This includes: Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Neoclassicism, Romanticism and Realism painting, sculpture and architecture.
