Transfers ToUC and CSUCal-GETC Area 2 · IGETC Area 2A · CSU GE Area B4DescriptionAn introductory course in Linear Algebra with studies of finite dimensional vector spaces, linear independence, basis, change of bases, systems of linear equations, linear transformations, techniques and applications involving matrices, LU factorization, similarity, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, quadratic forms, symmetric and orthogonal matrices, canonical forms, and an introduction to infinite dimensional vector spaces. This course is intended for STEM majors who have successfully completed Math 160: Calculus with Analytic Geometry II, OR equivalent, OR have a score of 3 or higher on the AP Calculus BC exam.
